FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEW SOLUTION SIMPLIFIES AND SPEEDS UP ‘WORM’ TRACKING Biomedical innovator launches TrakBox platform to revolutionise behavioural analysis of C. elegans and other microscopic nematodes Rugby, United Kingdom – May 2017   EMbody Biosignals, a UK-based specialist company in computational intelligence analysis techniques in biomedicine today announced its revolutionary new product, TrakBox, an affordable automated tracking platform for C.elegans and other microscopic nematodes. This platform utilises low-cost, off-the-shelf parts, combined with powerful tracking and analysis software to provide a revolutionary new look at behavioural analysis of microscopic nematodes. “Monitoring the behaviour patterns of C.elegans or other microscopic nematodes is a time-consuming, resource intensive and potentially inexact process. It requires dedicating time almost exclusively to undertake in-person monitoring, increasing costs and slowing down progress of research projects”, says owner…

Getting closer now! TrakBox complete!

AutoEPG, Events, News, TrakBox
The TrakBox system is now complete in every sense - first production versions are now assembled and being calibrated. The software is getting some tweaks, but its there! Its been a long hard slog but we are proud of the finished product - a low cost system that allows for tracking of microscopic nematodes over long periods of time - not only that but the powerful software allows for some wonderful analysis of the rich data that is obtained. We are looking forward to exhibiting both our TrakBox and AutoEPG product at the upcoming International Worm Conference in Los Angles this June 2017 - we will be releasing more information about these two tools as we get closer to the date.
