One of the projects we are working on is the use of brain activity (EEG) and/or muscle sensing activity (EMG) to provide a communication channel for those that need it. Particularly we are working on a low-cost, light-weight yet powerful EMG ‘switch’ that can be used to open communication channels for those that have just the slightest of residual ability to move a muscle.

We hope to be able to share more about this switch soon – in the meantime take a read of this paper (title below) on our work that is feeding the development of this switch.
